From works of Shakespeare; to the amazing style of writing, only Chinua Achebe knew how to use; to the 21th century style of storytelling Kendall F Person uses to weave beautiful intricate articles and essays.
All the beautiful works done by this favorite writers are somehow executed with some sort of ease I still feel I might never have. They wonderfully build settings, masterfully sculpt characters from the unknown and all of a sudden; their stories make use of the reader’s imagination, making the reader feel his dreams and thoughts by reading mere words with descriptions that are ever top notch. How is this even possible?

Ever read a short paragraph from a good article, done with words that seem to melt together to form a hint…

I just watched the 2011 presidential debates moderated by Chimamanda N. Adichie.
Buhari was empty.
Nuhu Ribadu wasn’t much better; but had a sense of modern politics
Shekarau (nobody) was the star of the day.

One of them became the president of the country and ruling till date.

You call that Progressive?

 MY NIGERIA ….the series

`…….. to call Alaba market a shape elbowed place is an understatement. (Years ago, armed distributors chased military police and filmmakers who did come to complain about pirating.) But its also a place where an ambitious person can quickly rise – like 22 year old Ibechukwu Johnson, who sits wrapping DVD’s in cellophane in a market stall; somewhere on the market ground. Ibechukwu has no money for college, so after secondary school, he takes a series of odd jobs here and there, before he ended up in the center of these market and feels he has being given the biggest chance to actually achieve; “I am going to save my money, and one day I will open my own place and eventually make films like this ones here,” he says, pointing to the DVD he is wrapping, which features a very low budget drama about…

They say patience is a virtue, only a fool would choose to argue yeah?

They also say patience is not necessarily the ability to wait, but rather the manner in which you wait. But I would say this in addition; Be it the manner or ability to wait, it all boils down to the continual understanding of patience as a man grows into complete adulthood.

Truth be told, life is lived one day at a time. Novels and memoirs are written one word at a time. A house would only fit when the bricklayer uses a brick at a time. Step by step gets the success train running.

We often desire change yeah but we still love to maintain and stay in all the good feels right? Something just has to give folks. When change comes, it should be accepted with two arms.

The distance seems impossibly long but attainable.

Life’s not a sprint. You don’t have to run your lungs out to be succesful. Nah!!

Slightwork and metal upgrading which requires much studying and having an open ear. Patiently wait for the “good days” and always bask in the euphoria of wonders of the past. It gets better  😉

Life is a marathon. slow but steady if you have to. A quick pace here and there but don’t fag yourself out when the race is not finished. While we are never promised tomorrow, we can still hope there will be one and it will be better than today.

Put one foot in front of the others. Do that in the good days, do that in the bad days. It’s not bad when you don’t have all of the answers. That’s when you start asking the right questions.

Consistency and dedication is key my friends.

And that’s how you build your wall. A brick at a time!

SMALL TIPS FOR THE BROTHERS

I just had to share ;-D

CELONA'S BLOG

Love doesn’t make the world go ’round; love is what makes the ride worthwhileShannon L. Alder

Was having this long talk with a few new friends; on best ways to making the ladies feel secured and assured, without spending too much time; running mouth and making promises we never get to keep.

No, this isn’t about where to kiss her, and different ways to touch her body. We talked about achieving this without ever laying a finger on her. I am of the opinion, every man should possess a few physical attributes, which I feel plays a big role in generating attraction with an opposite sex …and here are 5 “rules” I feel could truly have an impact on the lady’s heart. 😉
